Bind and plan the motif
Threads are mapped and tied off section by section to resist dye in a precise sequence.
Hand-dye in small batches
Maroon, indigo, and turmeric-gold dyes are applied in stages, with the yarn re-tied between each one.
Weave, then build
Once woven, the textile panel is cut and paired with full-grain leather trims, brass hardware, and a structured lining.
